The Blue Innovation Awards 2025 once again highlighted the creativity and strength of Flanders’ blue economy. This year’s entries reflected a strong drive for innovation and collaboration, with projects that stood out for their quality and impact

Who will win one of the prestigious Blue Innovation Awards this year? You will find out all about it on 9 October 13 in Maison de la Poste in Brussels. Be sure to cast your vote for your favorite, as the initiative with the most votes will go home with the Inspirational Blue Wave.

Our 20th project went live on 14 August. Project proposals can be submitted until 2 October. The present call is open to all innovation domains of Blue Cluster and to all project types, excluding completely new cSBR projects. Feasibility studies can be submitted throughout the year.

We received no fewer than 16 entries for the fifth edition of the Blue Innovation Awards. After careful deliberation, our jury has selected two nominees per category. We would like to introduce them to you below. The winners will be announced on 9 October during StarWatts in Brussels.

Blue Cluster's annual call for for cSBO projects has been open since 3 December 2024. You have until 30 January 2025 at 12 noon to submit your project proposals (two-pager). This call only applies to new cSBO projects linked to the Blue Economy.
