The new Marine Spatial Plan for the Belgian North Sea has been approved and is now in force. It places greater emphasis on nature, energy and safety, while also creating room for further innovation at sea and the development of new activities.

During the Belgian Offshore Days in Ostend, the Belgian offshore wind sector called on the federal government to swiftly move forward with the first tender in the Princess Elisabeth Zone. Rapid action is needed to ensure investment certainty and the continued growth of offshore wind.

Blue Cluster's annual call for for cSBR projects has launched. You have until 28 January 2026 at 12 noon to submit your project proposals (two-pager). This call only applies to new cSBR projects linked to the Blue Economy.
