Submit your application for Blue Cluster's twentieth project call

Our twentieth call for projects launches on 14 August 2025. Every proposal that fits within the roadmaps of Blue Cluster and meets the conditions for cooperation is eligible for financial support. Do you have a good idea for an innovative project linked to the sea? Submit your proposal.

We highly recommend you to have one of our innovation managers assess your project beforehand. This way, you are 100% certain that your proposal is admissible.

Project proposals for R&D projects, ICON projects or pilots are to be submitted to Blue Cluster by the deadline in the form of a 10-pager. Upon approval by the Steering Committee, the 10-pager is to be fleshed out into a full proposal for submission with VLAIO on Friday 9 December 2025. 

This project call is not open to new cSBR projects. This means it is not possible to submit proposals for cSBR projects to Blue Cluster in the form of a 2-pager within the scope of this call. It is nevertheless possible for cSBR projects with an approved 2-pager to submit a 10-pager during this call.

The deadline for submitting a project is 02 October 2025 at 12 noon CET.

On Friday 29 August, we will present our twentieth project call in detail during our networking day in Zwijnaarde. You will discover inspiring pitches, innovative project ideas, and all the details you need to launch a strong project yourself. The day offers plenty of opportunities to network and forge collaborations within the blue economy.
