The Business Network for Offshore Wind, the sector organisation for offshore wind in the US, organises an annual international forum for companies and policy makers active in the offshore wind sector. In the context of this event, Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) is organising an offshore wind mission to the US in April 2022.

Is (green) hydrogen your thing? Then come to Ostend Science Park on 20 April 2022 for an interesting event on this topic. In addition to a welcome speech by Minister Tinne Van der Straeten, five interesting sessions are scheduled which will give you a better idea of the state of affairs and future developments.

On Friday 25 March, a first information session on producer and branch organisations in the aquaculture sector took place. During this event, it quickly became clear that there is a lot of interest in this topic. For this reason, we are organising a follow-up meeting on 19 April. Project proposals for the 10th call of Blue Cluster must be submitted to Blue Cluster by Friday 4 February 2022 at 12 noon.

Reports about plans for offshore energy islands are regularly published in the media. These islands could potentially play an important role in the transition to a low-carbon economy. The works on the first energy island in Denmark have now started. It is therefore high time to reflect on this topic.
