The first permits for offshore wind on the American west coast are expected to be auctioned in autumn 2022. Does your company want to start activities in the region? Then this is the perfect moment to establish the right local contacts.

The ELBE consortium organises a mission to San Francisco from 29 to 31 March 2022 on the topic of floating offshore wind. This mission is linked to the Pacific Offshore Wind Summit, an important event where companies and policy makers come together to discuss the future of offshore wind.

In order to boost the internationalisation of our member-companies, we would like to offer 2 of our SMEs one free two-day pass for one person. This ticket has a value of $ 1695 and is valid for 29 and 30 March. Standard members will be given priority.

Interested in participating in the mission and a chance to win a free ticket?

Then send your motivation to Ann Overmeire by 3 February 2022.

Programme

On 29 and 30 March, we will visit the Pacific Offshore Wind Summit This summit’s programme includes various presentations, networking sessions and panel discussions on the following topics:

  • How will the permits for offshore wind be granted in 2022?
  • How can challenges in terms of infrastructure be addressed?
  • To what extent can offshore wind help achieve the climate goals?
  • How can stakeholders best be involved in the entire process?

On 31 March, various meetings will take place with local actors in the floating offshore wind industry.

More details about the specific programme will be announced later on.
