A lot of knowledge is needed to navigate the complexity of hybrid and interdependent digital energy systems. ODIN strives to better coordinate system processes and services by taking fundamental steps in the field of digitisation.

An offshore wind farm entails many maintenance costs. The partners within the SMARAGD project are developing an autonomous vessel to transport goods to and from the wind turbines. The aim is to reduce unnecessary costs.

BluERA aims to improve the understanding of how a number of different technologies for ocean energy react to the variability of the energy source. Moreover, the project will provide important data for risk assessments that will help promotors and investors select potential technologies.

The aim of this pilot project is the remote control of an estuary vessel between the ports of Antwerp and Zeebrugge. This is done with a reduced crew on board and a captain in a control centre on land.
