Wanted: new SME committee chair

The Blue Cluster SME committee, consisting of representatives of all small and medium-sized enterprises that are members of Blue Cluster, meets several times a year to discuss specific topics. Within this scope, a number of info sessions on funding have been organised, for example.

The current chairman of the SME committee is Koen Geirnaert, co-founder of the company dotOcean. Since dotOcean no longer meets the definition of an SME, he cannot remain in this position, unfortunately. We are therefore looking for a new chairperson. 

We would like to thank Koen for this enthusiasm and wish him lots of success in his future activities.

For this position, we are looking for a member of the board of a Flemish SME (which has been a member of Blue Cluster for at least one year) who is prepared to commit themself to and invest time in our organisation.

An important requirement is that you have broad understanding of and a vision for the opportunities of the blue economy and the role which Flemish SMEs can play in this respect.
