Second additional project call of BlueBio Cofund launched

The European Commission strives for a sustainable and circular bio-economy, as this is important to society, the environment and the economy in Europe. That is why the BlueBio Cofund was created as part of Horizon 2020.

BlueBio Cofund is a European co-financing mechanism to which 27 partners from 16 countries contributed. The objective is to make biobased products and services easier to market and find new ways to create value from the blue bio-economy.

A second additional project call was officially launched on 7 June on the BlueBio Cofund website. For this project call, a total of 9 funding bodies from 8 partner countries, including Belgium, have made €8 million available.

Proposals for this second additional project call can be submitted until 20 September 2021 at 1 pm.
