Group business trip to Canada & DEFSEC Atlantic 2026
As Canada continues to expand its investments in defence, security and maritime innovation, new opportunities are emerging for international collaboration. During this group business trip to Halifax, you will gain first-hand insights into the Canadian market, connect with key stakeholders and explore potential partnerships.
The mission is organised by Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) in collaboration with Blue Cluster, Flanders Space and Agoria.
Programme
This group business mission is linked to DEFSEC Atlantic, one of the most important defence and security trade fairs in North America. In addition to increased visibility on the exhibition floor through FIT’s group stand, you can participate in seminars, networking events and meetings with potential partners from the Canadian defence and security sector.
A dedicated maritime programme will be developed for companies in the blue economy. This programme includes, among other things, a visit to Irving Shipbuilding, one of Canada’s leading shipbuilding companies, supplemented by targeted meetings with relevant maritime and defence-related stakeholders from the local ecosystem.
