Financial support for SMEs interested in embracing sustainability
The ELBE Eurocluster consortium has recently published the results of its second call for financial support for training. The ten selected companies will receive an amount of up to €13,500 in support. Among the selected companies are no less than 8 Belgian SMEs.
The available funds can be used to participate in different training modules related to business modelling and strategy, sustainability (ESG) and sustainability reporting. Each of these trainings will be offered in English.

Ghent Dredging
Ghent Dredging specialises in a wide range of environmental services, including hydraulic engineering, soil remediation, dredging and the processing of soil and sludge.

Oceans of Energy is a young company specialising in offshore solar energy and the associated anchoring technology. They also conduct research into the impact of such installations on the environment.

Officers on Watch conducts assessments, analyses and develops effective policies to ensure the safety, security and efficiency of maritime operations.

Prophesea provides digital solutions and develops tailor-made predictive software that uses both machine learning and mathematical models.

About ELBE Eurocluster
The ELBE Alliance was founded in 2016 to support the internationalisation and supply chain development of European offshore renewable energy clusters.
In 2022, the Alliance became an EU-funded Eurocluster supporting cooperation between offshore energy clusters from 8 countries: Spain, Norway, France, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Poland and the UK.
Boasting approximately 1000 members, 12 test and demonstration sites as well as 72 technology developers in the field of offshore wind, wave and tidal energy, it is one of the leading European clusters in the field of blue energy.
