Apply and gain access to international research infrastructure

The Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership recently launched its first Transnational Access Call to Research Infrastructures. Through this call, your company or public organisation can make use of European research infrastructure for your project.

The Transnational Access Call to Research Infrastructures offers you the opportunity to benefit from the services of 49 research infrastructures in 7 countries, including research vessels, fixed platforms, auxiliary equipment and experimental stations, mobile platforms, analytical laboratories and test benches, and high-performance computing centres.

This call supports the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) of the Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership by fostering innovation, aligning national investments with EU strategies, and promoting Open Science and international cooperation. To be eligible, your project proposal must fit into at least one of the 2024 intervention areas:

The current call is open to companies, research institutions, NGOs and other stakeholders from all over the world.

Interested in taking this offer? You can submit your project proposal until Tuesday 29 April 2025 at 15:00 CEST.

Context

The Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership is a unique collaboration between 74 partner institutions from 30 countries and the European Commission to pool investments in research and innovation and align national programmes on a pan-European scale.

This initiative is co-funded by Horizon Europe and is aligned with the R&I agendas of the European Sea Basins (Mediterranean, Black, Baltic and North Seas) and the Atlantic Ocean, and builds on lessons learned from previous initiatives.
