Take part in the Edinburgh Offshore Renewables Roadshow
The Edinburgh Offshore Renewables Roadshow, organised by Blue Cluster and Flanders Investment & Trade, focuses on the growing offshore renewable energy sector in Scotland, with particular attention to floating offshore wind and decommissioning.
Over the course of three intensive days, you will visit relevant sites, meet policymakers and leading organisations, and gain direct insight into collaboration opportunities between Flanders and Scotland.
What can you expect?
- Regulation & market access
Sessions with Scottish and international partners on regulation, market mechanisms, tenders, R&D cooperation and international Horizon opportunities. - Company visits & project insights
Visits to, among others, the Port of Leith and the Inch Cape project, including meetings with involved companies and developers. - Pitching & matchmaking
A pitching session with project developers (including ESB, SSE, EDF and Equinor) where you can present your offshore solutions. - Outlook on floating wind
Exchange with Flotation Energy and ecosystem partners on future floating wind projects and the role of Scottish ports. - Networking
Reception and meetings with developers, OEMs, distributors, fitters and partners from both the Flemish and Scottish offshore sectors.
Brief programme
- Day 1 – Edinburgh: Presentations and interactive sessions on regulation, market access, R&D cooperation and international opportunities.
- Day 2 – Inch Cape project: Meetings with involved companies, insights into the supply chain and technological challenges.
- Day 3 – Flotation Energy: Flotation Energy: Visit and exchange on future floating wind projects.
