Launch of the maritime security ecosystem and project generation workshop
The protection of maritime critical infrastructure is increasingly high on the international agenda. Geopolitical tensions, hybrid threats and strategic dependencies are placing new demands on the protection of offshore installations, ports and other vital infrastructure.
With this event, Blue Cluster aims to bring together and strengthen the ecosystem around maritime security. Participants will gain insights into the broader strategic context, the operational challenges faced by navies and other actors, and the role innovation can play in developing new solutions.
In addition, we will highlight opportunities for innovation projects within Flemish, federal and European funding frameworks. The afternoon programme will focus on interaction, with project idea pitches and break-out sessions where new collaborations and project concepts can emerge.
During this event, the formal signing of the cooperation agreement between Blue Cluster and the Royal Higher Institute for Defence (RHID) will also take place.
