Do you want to meet you colleagues in real life and think about the future of the blue economy? Participate in our Blue Sessions Day on 3 June 2022. These are the 3 central domains of the event: Nature Inclusive Design for offshore wind farms, plastics and maritime connections.

Nature Inclusive Design

During this session, we will paint a clear picture of what nature inclusive design is, what the technical possibilities are for offshore wind farms and which initiatives are ongoing. Afterwards, participants can debate about the opportunities and challenges in this area.

Smart Shipping

Through an interactive workshop, we will elaborate on the needs of the shipping industry and look at how smart applications can be a solution in this regard. This session is primarily aimed at companies, but knowledge institutions can also participate.

Ocean pollution

Plastics are one of the most visible forms of pollution in oceans and rivers. A lot of research is being conducted into potential solutions to litter, as well as micro- and macroplastics. During this session, we will identify the entire value chain of the plastic problem together with stakeholders. An action plan and the opportunities of (in)direct business cases will be discussed.
