MEsP 2.0 (Marine Ecosystem Performance framework) develops a practical and scientifically grounded instrument that enables companies to assess both their impact on and their dependency on marine ecosystems. The project builds on MEsP 1.0 and strengthens the framework with advanced impact assessment methods, greater attention to the complexity of marine ecosystems, and a user-friendly digital architecture. In doing so, MEsP 2.0 supports companies in the blue economy in making well-informed and future-oriented decisions.
