We are committed to strong cooperation between these companies, knowledge institutions and governments with the aim of setting up activities that lead to economic added value for both individual businesses and large groups of companies.

VLAIO (Flanders Innovation & Entrepreneurship) joins forces and resources with its cluster partners. Blue Cluster is the spearhead cluster for the blue economy in Flanders, which means all economic activities linked to the sea. Catalisti is the Flemish spearhead cluster for the chemical and plastics industry. Catalisti wants to give companies with innovative ambitions a flying start by offering successful synergies with other advanced companies, universities and research institutes.

Flux50 (energy)

Flux50 is the Flemish spearhead cluster for energy. The mission of Flux50 is the creation and international recognition of Flanders as a Smart Energy Region, where Flemish Energy technology is a pole of economic growth. As a membership organisation, Flux50 wants to unite and mobilise its 150 members for this mission.

Flanders' FOOD (agri-food)

Flanders' FOOD is the Flemish spearhead cluster for the agri-food industry. The cluster focuses on innovation to create a more competitive, innovative and sustainable agri-food industry. Cooperation between the companies, knowledge institutions and innovation partners involved is very important in this respect.

MEDVIA (healthcare)

MEDVIA is the Flemish spearhead cluster for healthcare. The cluster strives to stimulate collaboration between companies and, as a community, actively looks for synergies in the areas of prevention and early diagnosis, new personalised treatments and accelerated development of medical devices.

VIL (logistics)

VIL is the Flemish spearhead cluster on logistics. The cluster wants to make Flanders the European hub in the global supply chain. VIL represents more than 500 companies and works with leading strategic partners and a network of contacts at home and abroad to realise this ambitious goal.

SIM (materials)

SIM is the Flemish spearhead cluster for the materials industry. SIM – Strategic Initiative Materials in Flanders - supports the growth of innovative players in this sector. The cluster wants to further strengthen Flanders' strong position as a materials hotspot and thus also the competitive position of the materials industry in Flanders.
