StakeHolders2cO-design: Towards impactful stakeholder engagement

On 23 May 2023, the PREP4BLUE project is organising a co-design workshop to boost collaboration between a wide range of stakeholders for the development of key recommendations for impactful stakeholder engagement methods for future key Mission R&I core activities. This workshop takes place back-to-back with the EMD 2023 in Brest (France).

The EU Mission Ocean, Seas and Waters, goes far beyond research and innovation. The Mission will change the paradigm in the scientific approach, by combining new forms of governance and cooperation, to ensure that everyone can co-design and co-implement innovative solutions to contribute to the restoration of our ocean, seas and waters by 2030.

PREP4BLUE will thus identify the best methods to ensure that each actor can play their part in the Mission.

The workshop will offer the opportunity to a wide range of panelists, representing each basin of Europe (Mediterranean, Atlantic/Arctic, Baltic and North Sea, Danube and Black Sea) to showcase a relevant stakeholder engagement method, implemented in their project, community and territory.

Participants will participate in interactive debates to share their experience and identify best practices, successes and challenges,  proposing together how to effectively “engage, connect and empower” stakeholders within the Mission Ocean & Waters.
