ELBE Plus - European Leaders of Blue Energy
Europe as technological and industrial world leader in Blue Energy
The ELBE+ partners wish to help position Europe as the technological and industrial world leader in blue energy. Seven European clusters, including Blue Cluster, join forces to establish a pan-European blue energy cluster with global ambitions.
The focus is on wave and tidal energy, as well as floating offshore wind energy (FOW) and emerging markets for fixed bottom offshore wind energy. The following activities will be started:
- FOW market analysis for the US, Japan, Korea and Taiwan & high-level analysis of emerging markets for fixed bottom offshore wind in Vietnam, Korea and India.
- Exploratory trip for bottom offshore wind to Asia (country to be selected)
- Networking activities in France and Norway
- Direct missions to the US and Asia
- Returning mission from the US
- Cooperation agreements with a US and a Japanese company cluster
ELBE+ is a recognised European Strategic Cluster Partnership. This project is a second phase. Within the first phase, an internationalisation strategy was drawn up on the basis of value chain analyses, market studies and market explorations.
