Awarding an export company, an investor and a start-up that make our region shine far beyond its borders: that's the aim of the brand-new Flanders International Business Awards.
With this competition formula, Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) emphasises its reinforcing and connecting power within the Flemish economic landscape. As a structural partner of FIT, Blue Cluster is happy to contribute to this.
Wanted: robust international companies
Is your company firmly established internationally and do you have a major impact on the Flemish economy? Then we invite you to submit your application in one of the three categories by 31 May. Do you know a potential contender? Be sure to encourage them to participate.
The professional jury selects three nominees per category from the entries. The nine nominees will defend their candidacy in early September before a final jury of experts and business leaders from the economic world.
Meet the winners
The Flanders International Business Awards will be presented on 20 September in the iconic Skyhall at Brussels Airport. The award ceremony is therefore the highlight of the Flanders International Business Weeks (11-15 and 26-29 September).
Specially for this occasion, the diffrent experts and technology attachés from FIT's global network will come to Flanders so as to connect with entrepreneurs and advise them on a tailor-made basis. It is therefore certainly worth your while to be present.
One competition, one momentum, one party
With the Export Lion (21 editions), which awarded exceptional Flemish export performance, and the Foreign Investment Trophy (10 editions) for remarkable foreign investments, the Flanders International Business Awards have illustrious predecessors.
However, from now on, Flanders Investment & Trade wants to reward exporters, investors and start-ups through one competition. One award show, one stage, one moment: a logical step for FIT and a celebration for Flanders as a region of international entrepreneurship.
