No New Year reception, but a high-profile alternative

At Blue Cluster, we are all too aware of the importance of physical events such as New Year receptions. Such moments are extremely valuable to introduce companies to one another and potentially establish new business partnerships. We are normally strongly committed to these types of events.

However, it is impossible to organise a physical event in the current circumstances. Additionally, we didn’t think an online event was a meaningful alternative, as we have noticed that many people are tired of online events.

In these times of limited social contact, we decided to focus on connectivity and to zoom in on people giving shape to the blue economy. We took Tine Embrechts under our wing and sent her to interesting figures in Flanders to listen to their story.

This resulted in a nice podcast of surprising stories from interesting figures in the blue economy, which our members and partners will receive exclusively in their inbox on Friday 22 January. You can watch the teaser for the podcast below.
