The Flemish ecosystem currently boasts around 2,500 start-ups, representing a total business value of approximately € 36 billion in April 2023. Innovation remains the spearhead of the Flemish start-up ecosystem.

Favorable and stimulating conditions are a must for the further growth and international success of start-ups. From this point of view, FIT recently launched the service platform Startup.Flanders.

This platform strengthens the collaboration between start-ups, investors, companies, cities and the government. This leads to greater international visibility of Flemish start-ups and of Flanders as an international innovation and technology player.
