Meet Blue Cluster's renewed governing body

Following the amendment of Blue Cluster’s articles of association at the 2025 General Assembly, the Board of Directors was restructured during 2025 and 2026. This has resulted in a renewed composition of Blue Cluster’s governing body.

Five new board members were appointed for a three-year term: Bart De Poorter (CTO, DEME), Steven Luys (CEO, Exail), Jef Monballieu (COO, Multi.Engineering), Anicet Touré (Head of Strategy, Business Development & Innovation, Tractebel) and Josefien Vanhuyse (CEO, Neanex).

Jef Monballieu and Josefien Vanhuyse will also serve as Chair and Vice-Chair of the SME Committee, respectively.

In addition, the mandates of Guy Janssens (VP Corporate Affairs, Port of Antwerp-Bruges) and Gert De Sitter (Owner and Managing Director, 24SEA) were extended by three years and one year, respectively.

All appointments were unanimously approved by the General Assembly on 28 May 2026.
