Market consultation on floating waste in marinas

Did you know it takes around 450 years for a plastic bottle to break down in the sea? It is therefore very important to tackle the waste problem at the source to ensure as little waste as possible ends up in the sea.

Waste enters the sea in very different ways. One such way is through marinas on the coast. The Agency Maritime Service and Coast wants to address this issue through the project “Innovative organisation of catching and removing floating waste in marinas on the coast”.

In the preparatory phase, the Agency wants to encourage private companies to think about possible original solutions to the problem. To this end, it is organising a market consultation under the guidance of Addestino Innovation Management.

Are you a pioneering company focusing on autonomous and continuous systems to remove waste from marinas? Then grab your chance, make your voice heard and contribute to a cleaner North Sea coast.
