The Prince Albert Fund helps talented young professionals gain experience with the implementation of international projects. Every year, about 30 young high potentials under 30 receive a grant of € 27,500 to manage a 12-month business project outside Europe for a Belgian company.

Since 1984, the fund has thus enabled hundreds of young professionals to hone their skills  in the international business world. In addition, over 250 Belgian companies have had the opportunity to expand their activities across the globe.

Advantage for companies

The Prince Albert Fund offers a fantastic opportunity for Belgian companies with an overseas presence or international ambitions to take on a carefully selected young professional for a one-year project outside Europe at an attractive cost.

Via the Prince Albert Fund, companies can rely on a talented young professional to develop their business abroad over a 12-month period. The Prince Albert Fund provides assistance and reimbursement to the young professional. In return, the company pays a fee to the fund.

Want to call in a young professional for your international plans? Then submit a challenging project idea to the Prince Albert Fund. Upon approval, your project idea will be forwarded to all selected candidates, who will contact you directly in case they are interested in your project.

The selected young professionals are completely free to choose the project they prefer. This implies that there is no guarantee that one of the candidates will take on your project proposal. In case several candidates are interested in your project idea, you can determine whom you want to engage.
