Call for suppliers within the LEVIATAD project
The LEVIATAD project brings together 6 organisations from 4 different countries to create the first real Eurocluster in the field of naval defence. First and foremost, the SMEs and their role within the European naval defence value chain defense were mapped out.
In addition, LEVIATAD aims to develop new tools and methods that can help SMEs expand their activities in the marine sector based on supporting measures such as providing workshops and subsidies aimed at partnerships.
Call for suppliers
Through a survey, SMEs put forward a number of very specific requirements to gain access to the naval defence value chain. To support them in this, the partners in the LEVIATAD project want to set up a number of concrete workshops. These workshops will deal with various topics that will help SMEs start international partnerships within this sector.
A call for suppliers has been issued for the organisation of these workshops. Through this call, players within (or outside) the naval defence sector have the opportunity to set up these workshops. Want to know more? Immerse yourself in the requirements and expectations of these workshops. This call opens on Monday 15 May and closes on Monday 26 May. Interested in participating? Fill in the application form and send it to Marie Vandewalle.

Call for financial support
Are you active in the naval defence sector (or interested in becoming so) and are you looking for financial support? Then we would like to inform you that LEVIATAD will launch a call for financial support on 1 July. This call will provide subsidies for SMEs that enter into international partnerships with members of the other participating countries.
In preparation for this call, an online work session will take place at the end of June (part of the call for suppliers) in which SMEs from different countries will be brought together to brainstorm about innovative projects and the start of collaborations. Further details will be communicated once the call has been launched.
