A Very Merry Christmas and a Happy Blue Year

Dear members, friends and colleagues,

Even in these turbulent times, we can report plenty of positive news. Companies, knowledge institutions and government authorities once again joined forces in the past year, which resulted in a series of strong projects we could realise with your help.

Cooperation, co-creation and the courage to push boundaries time after time continue to be the keys to success. The past year has certainly convinced any sceptics that our future is at, on and in the sea.

The oceans and seas are an indispensable source of energy, food, economic potential, sustainable recreation and health. We take pride in the strong efforts by our members and partners to develop this potential, and look to the future with confidence.

2023 marks the fifth anniversary of Blue Cluster, and we will celebrate this occasion together with you. In the meantime, my colleagues and I wish you all the best for the coming year. It has been a great journey, but it will get even better!
