Offshore opportunities in Ireland with the Blue Economy Roadshow
The Irish offshore energy sector is growing rapidly and strongly focused on sustainability. Circularity, nature-inclusive design, ecosystem impact and Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) are becoming increasingly important, creating new opportunities for Flemish expertise.
Against this backdrop, Blue Cluster and Flanders Investment & Trade are organising a Blue Economy Roadshow to Ireland in May 2026. Flemish companies and knowledge institutions will meet leading Irish players and explore collaboration opportunities around sustainable offshore energy.

Preliminary programme
- Sunday 10 May:
Arrival in Dublin, transfer to Galway & overnight stay. - Monday 11 May: Galway & Limerick
Visits to Blue Wise Marine, the Marine Institute and the Centre for Robotics and Intelligent Systems (CRIS). Evening reception with local stakeholders in Cork. - Tuesday 12 May: Cork
Meetings with MaREI, Simply Blue Group, DP Energy and (subject to confirmation) Exceedence. - Wednesday 13 May:
Return flight to Brussels (via Cork or Dublin).
