During this event you'll gain insight into new data and measuring tools that can help assess the lifetime of offshore structure more accurately. Instead of relying on standard assumptions, the projects FIRMEST and PIT show how the actual condition of a turbine can be taken into account - including welding details, geometric deviations and corrosion. By using tools such as 3D scans and monitoring data, it becomes possible to plan maintenance more precisely and update lifetime predictions for offshore wind turbines more realistically.

So join us on 15 September 2026 at Technologiepark for a morning packed with interesting project outcomes, practical tools, and cutting-edge research!
