As (junior) Innovation Manager Offshore Energy, you will support your colleagues in developing and guiding innovation projects. You will help ideas grow into concrete projects and contribute to their successful path to market. In doing so, you will help shape the future of offshore renewable energy.

Role

  • You help initiate innovation projects that create impact for the offshore renewable energy sector and monitor them in close collaboration with companies, research institutions and other strategic partners;
  • You stay up to date with trends and breakthroughs within the blue economy and help translate them into the Offshore Renewable Energy roadmap, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the transition;
  • You act as a bridge between companies and knowledge and research institutions, bringing together expertise and stimulating the development of strong, market-oriented innovation trajectories;
  • You strengthen our network by actively sharing knowledge and organising thematic sessions and networking events that lead to new collaborations and projects;
  • You actively contribute to the operational activities of Blue Cluster, including the launch of project calls and the follow-up of steering committees.

Profile

  • You hold a Master’s degree, preferably in an engineering discipline;
  • You have 1–2 years of relevant experience in innovation management, project management or an industrial environment where technology and collaboration are central;
  • You have a strong interest in energy-related challenges and want to actively contribute to the energy transition;
  • You are fascinated by innovative technologies, processes and products and are eager to contribute to projects with tangible impact;
  • You are a natural connector: you bring together diverse stakeholders, quickly build a strong network and create trust between companies, research institutions and public authorities;
  • You take into account the needs and expectations of different stakeholders, recognise opportunities and translate them into feasible and strategic solutions;
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch and have a good knowledge of English;
  • Knowledge and/or experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: digital transformation, international project development and the preparation of project proposals.

  • We offer a competitive gross salary between €3,500 and €4,500, depending on your experience, complemented by fringe benefits such as a company car, laptop, mobile phone and meal vouchers. You will start with a full-time permanent contract as an employee under Joint Committee 200.
  • In addition, we provide free hospitalisation insurance (family members can join at a favourable rate) and a group insurance plan.
  • We attach great importance to a healthy work-life balance. Therefore, we offer the possibility to work from home up to two days per week (for a full-time contract).
