MARINERG-i: help shape the future of offshore renewable testing in Europe
Offshore renewable energy plays a key role in the European energy transition. To accelerate innovation, there is a need for strong testing and research infrastructure where new technologies for offshore wind, solar, wave and tidal energy can be developed, tested and validated.
Driven by this ambition, MARINERG-i is building an integrated and distributed European research infrastructure. The initiative aims to bring together expertise, infrastructure and services from different countries in order to stimulate research, innovation and international collaboration.
During this workshop, you will explore the opportunities offered by this network for Belgian organisations, and we will examine how Belgium can strengthen its position within future European initiatives.
The workshop is organised by Ghent University / Coastal & Ocean Basin (COB) with the cooperation of Blue Cluster.
